This centre already has an established suite of academically based programmes designed for disseminating knowledge in diabetes and shares a common interest in the promotion of high quality education for nurses in diabetes.
Accreditation
The ENDCUP programme is validated by the university partner (King's College London), resulting in a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Diabetes which carries 60 UK credits at MSc level (30 ECTS credits).
This accreditation gives credibility and transparency to the qualifications of nurses specialising in diabetes by enhancing their clinical, educational and research skills. The diabetes care centres provide the context and the network of qualified trainers for leading the delivery of the programmes of study.
