DIAMAP2020 Roadmap for Diabetes Research in Europe

The DIAMAP2020 Roadmap for Diabetes Research in Europe has been launched on 20 March 2017.

www.diamap.eu DIAMAP2020 is a project of EURADIA: The Alliance for European Diabetes Research and updating the DIAMAP project is a major priority for EURADIA. The website is the tool that generates the material essential for a rational diabetes advocacy strategy, targeting support for diabetes research at European and national level. The Roadmaps will be updated continuously by experts from the European diabetes research community and an exemplar Roadmap on Type 1 Diabetes is underway.

This updated and relaunched website is a new and interactive tool built by using data gathered during the original 2010 European Commission FP7-funded DIAMAP project.
In addition to the Roadmaps, the website also includes a Landscape Map and Searchable Databases locating diabetes researchers and the organisations that fund the research across Europe. The EURADIA secretariat will be contacting researchers individually by email to collect information for this Landscape.
EURADIA will be hosting a pre-EASD symposium based upon DIAMAP2020, in Lisbon on Monday 11 September 14.30-17.00, details will be available in the near future.
We invite comments and/or information that you would like to see in future Roadmaps and on the current scientific content - please use the button on the right of the screen ‘send feedback’.  We also invite comments on the technical aspects (typos, bugs, server performance) in order that your experience of the website can be optimal.
Please can you circulate this information to your networks and to colleague who may find it of interest.
We will look forward to being in contact with all of you in the near future regarding DIAMAP2020.
With kind regards,
On behalf of Prof Chantal Mathieu, Chair of DIAMAP and Prof Andrew Boulton, Chair of EURADIA
